Electrics Shorting After Leak and Upstairs Lights not Working

by jackers34 » Sun Oct 30, 2016 8:06 pm

Hi I had a leak in my roof which has now been fixed and then a leak from my bath affecting my hall. My electrics were shorting for weeks. Advised to let them dry out. My electric board this evening is now allowing me to put the upper lights switch on but the my upper lights upstairs still aren't working. Any ideas ? Could something of blown on the main circuit board. Or could it take time to come back on ? It's a GET circuit cat no Gics1153R BSEN60439-3 Just wondering if something needs changing on the board or somethings blown on there. It's only in the last hour the circuit isn't shorting. Please please help. Beside myself

The BSEN number relates to the main switch. What are the BS no of the other devices on the board, any RCDs?
