Emberglow Classic Gas Fire

by lfish22985 » Fri Dec 28, 2007 5:48 pm

I had a Emberglow fire fitted by a Corgi fitter (Words fail me) just over 12 months ago, when the fire is turned down to low it looks like only half the fire is alight, it also makes a strange noise when it's switched off, it sounds like a backfire, a blockage that has escaped, if you know what I mean, I've had this type of fire for many years, and never had a problem with it, I wouldn't call the fitter back because he was a right muppet, damaged my fireplace, he was a right disaster, any help on this would be very helpful.

Thanks Les

If it was fitted just over 12 months ago - it is due a annual gas service. Get a CORGI registered installer to service the fire and check the installation. He should be able to repair or offer advice to solve the problems.
