There are plenty of tiles that can be used outside and the choice is yours. The first thing to say is that a reputable tile merchant will have staff with knowledge and free advice. Tiles are graded for their suitability so some tiles are manufactured for floors and others for walls; the wall tiles won't be as strong for taking weight perhaps as the floor tiles but you might want to use the floor tiles on a wall. It depends on the tile itself. When you tile outside you need to make sure you use adhesive and grout that are suitable for the conditions the tiled area will be subject to and take into account the temperature changes through the year.
