Extractor fan

Post by bullydave » Wed Jul 11, 2007 10:13 am

Is it safe/possible to wire an extractor fan so that it can be plugged into a wall socket?
Fan will not be used in a bathroom or kitchen.
If so, how - instruction only give info for wiring into circuit.

Extractor fan

I've not tried to install something like this before - I thought it would be straight forward but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to electrocute myself/burn house down! Just being cautious - nothing to hide!!!

Thanks for reassurance.
