    Finishing coving at door frames

    Postby familylady » Tue Aug 05, 2008 8:58 am

My door frames go right up to the ceiling and I don't seem to be able to finish the plaster coving off so it looks good. A straight cut look rubbish but an angled cut doesnt seem right either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

The best thing you can do is return the coving to the wall. this is, run the top of the coving so that it is level with the door frame then do an external angle and put a small piece between the wall and the coving like a very small external joint.
