am in process of installing new fire surround for new gas fire, the stone back panel that fits onto chimney breast with surround has opening pre cut for new fire . The fire place opening in the breast is larger than the opening in the stone back panel. Should I brick the opening in breast to the same sixe as the one on the back panel or is it O.K. to fit and seal as is??
