Fitting a Door to metel frame
Hi! Can anyone please help.I have been asked to help a friend & fit a door to a kitchen. the door was removed by the previouse owner & all holes etc. have been filled in. the trouble is the door framework is Metel. is it possible to use self tapping screws
yes that would be fine, just make sure you drill apilot hole through the metal just slightly smaller than the screw diameter then screw in the self taping screw, you can also buy self drilling screws that dont need apilot hole they can be used in softer metals like mild steel and alliminium.
