Fitting a Flexi Pipe Connector to an Isolation Valve for Toilet Cistern

by thesaltdog » Wed Apr 06, 2016 8:55 pm

I'm fitting a new toilet and want to remove the existing copper pipe for the cistern and replace with a flexi connector, there is already an isolation valve fitted but i'm not sure how to connect it to the flexi connector correctly.

This is the flexi connector I'm looking at:

I'm assuming the connection on the right (with the rubber washer) gets connected to the cistern, if that is the case how to do I connect the other end to an isolation valve? Should I use a female coupler?

Or have I got the connections the wrong way round and should fit the end with the rubber washer to the isolation valve with a male coupler?

Thanks

Nick

you need a 1/2" by 1/2" flexi connector,not a 1/2" x 15mm flexi
