Fixing very heavy framed mirror to plasterboard

    Postby johnopaulo » Thu Jul 08, 2010 8:01 am

Hi, just looking for a little advice. I have a very large framed mirror in casing with wooden doors with two brackets with screw size openings for attaching to fixings. I can only fic this to a plasterboard wall and I cannot line it up with any of the frame wood at the back so both fixings will have to be into the hollow board itself. What fixings will be best for this job?

    Thanks

    Johno

    See this.

To be honest though it all depends on the weight of the item.
