Flexi Pipe For Loft

by Leigh22 » Thu Dec 09, 2010 9:23 am

Hi,

I need to find some flexi-pipe to go into my loft where the waste pipe goes. At the minute it isnt connected to the pipe running out of the roof so all the air is going into the loft and causing condensation which in this weather is quite bad and there is a lot of water up there. I need a piece of pipe which is 4.5" diameter at one end and 3.5" at the other and around 2 - 2 and a half feet in length when stretched. I have looked everywhere and cant find anywhere that sells anything like this. Does anybody have any ideas?

Cheers

Leigh

When you say 'waste pipe' ... what do you mean ? Is it soil pipe or extractor vent. Where is the air coming from ?

Earlier today I used a flexible soil pipe (4'') diameter. That was around 3' in length. With a roll of duct tape, I'm sure it could be adapted as a temporary measure ... readily available from any DIY store or builders merchants..!
