Floor sealant problems/wood floor prep
Any Help would be appreciated. I've been laying down aqua seal on an uneven concrete floor all week. I'm having wood floors installed in 6 days. I was told to put a sealant down first to protect the wood from any moisture, then put down compound leveler to even out the floor. Here's my problem: It's been a few days now and the floor isn't completely dry. Its slightly tacky and coming up in places, and I suspect I may have done this wrong. I never laid any screed down, or any sand. Do I have to pull up all of this sealant and start over? Should I mix another coat with a fine sand and wait for that to dry? I still have to put this leveller down and this all has to be ready by friday. I really don't want to have to pull all of this stuff up and start over. Any way I can salvage what I've already done? Any help at all would be appreciated!
