Flooring insulation Help, advice, information, answers and tips on all types of flooring from laminate and carpet to timber and vinyl

I am planning to lay 8mm thick cork tiles on to a groundfloor chipboard floor after first lining it with 6mm ply.. Would it be advisable to put any kind of isulation between the 6mm ply and chipboard and if so what type should this be?
