Front door lock stuck

Hi there

I am wondering if anyone can help me. I have just moved into a new house and am having some problems with the front door. I am able to lock the door from either inside or out but I am unable to pull the key out of the lock when it is locked. I seems like the key needs to turn just a few degrees more to let me lock it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
