Gap Between Toilet Base and Floor

Post by richardo238 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 5:58 pm

Hi,

I have had someone into my house to fit a new bathroom suite. The only problem that arose was that the toilet was slightly smaller than the old one and so the builder had to put the new toilet on some timber blocks so that the waste pipe fitted properly. The gap that is there is about 2 inches and the only flexible beading I can find is way too thin to cover it. Is there any easy way to cover a gap like this?

Thanks.

you can buy plastic trim, but I am unsure which one is suitable for your needs, there are various ones on the market, from flat architrave 45mm thick or large quadrant.
go to a double glazing suppliers/installers they stock all the plastic trim you may need

Thanks WB. Managed to get some from Wickes and fixed it to the timber which worked great.
