Garage Ceiling Insulation

Post by Mancman » Fri Oct 02, 2009 7:50 pm

Hi Everyone.

My garage is underneath my lounge /kitchen and I'm going to insulate the ceiling in the next few weeks using 50mm PU insulation boards (because it is the best insulant out there).

Looking for some advice on fixing to the existing ceiling which is bare concrete.

Options - drilling - tedious as will have to use a masionary drill and plugs or some sort of 'glue' - liquid nails or PU OCF ?

Does anyone have any ideas or practical experience? Thanks

Am in same sitation, garage is beneath bedroom and I need to insulate the the 23sq mt ceiling as we have a temperature differential between the bedroom and the remainder of the bungalow. I believe lack of insulation in the garage is the main problem here.
If there is anybody out there that can offer help/advice then we both look forward to hearing from you.
