Garden Retaining Wall Landscape Fabric

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a bit of advice. I have had a 900mm retaining wall built in my garden, with weep holes at the base of the wall. I intend to back fill behind the wall with limestone chippings. My builder recommended fitting terram between the gravel and the soil to prevent the soil from clogging the gravel/weep holes. Rather than use terram can I just use cheap weed control fabric such as that sold in Wilkinsons?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
