pilot lifting away

Post by swwoodruff » Mon Sep 24, 2007 11:29 am

I think that describes what happens... where is the gas valve?
The three people who've been called to look at the system ask the symptoms, hear "shits down including pilot" and just shrug and say new system. Sound slike this is something I can try turning down (?) myself? If I knew how to findthat gas valve
THANKS!

i am a bit late but i agree with the heating doctor.
pottertons masterpiece was the kingfisher mf (although illegal now due to efficiency) & baxi should have stuck to back boilers.
you should really check the burner on your promax's as they are probably split, they have had about 20 modifications since they came out & i cant even talk about baxi these days as i have to watch my stress levels

also i would have to say that it is not for people in the trade to advise other people to trawl the yellow pages or have 'homers' done -:::
what happens if it all goes wrong - do you phone a mobile that does not answer?
