GAS HOB FITTING

GAS HOB FITTING

Can a new gas hob be connected to the mains with a flexible rubber bayonet fitting hose that connects a free standing cooker. Is it safe/legal etc. any thoughts would be most welcome.I am a fitter, but not gas safe registered. Cheers.
