Gas shut off valve handle

by knight-gkla » Mon Aug 20, 2007 12:32 pm

My Gas shut off valve is beside the meter in an external brick "box" on a GradeII building. The handle can only travel 45deg so it takes two goes to shut off the gas. Can I buy a shaft extender for the valve, if so where please?

The gas shut off valve is not your problem if there's a fault. If its not accessible easily or can't be turned off easily then its the fault of transco, who will repair it free of charge. The telephone number is on your gas meter and is a freephone number.
