    Glass Splashbacks

    Postby focusrs-r » Sun Dec 13, 2009 7:11 pm

Hi all, im really considering installing [url]Google "glasstops.co.uk/kitchen/glass-splashbacks.html" but am looking for re-assurance. ive never seen it used like this before and im wondering whether there are any draw backs or problems?

I would seriously consider having this as glass is a nightmare to keep clean and smear free. Unless you have time to clean and polish it evey day i would consider something else. Yes it looks amazing when clean and smear free but can spoil your kitchen unless you are prepared for the hard work of keeping it like this. I would opt for tiles or granite splash back.

depends on the colour, we had a grey glass splashback put in our kitchen and you dont see the marks on it as much. Only thing is that colours become dated after a while
