glowworm. is it the flow switch ?

by temps » Tue Nov 04, 2008 5:54 pm

Hi guys,
No-one answered my last post so i'm trying again.

Glowworm compact 100e.
Heating fine, no hot water. When tap is turned on, nothing. Boiler wont fire, No fan, nothing. The led demand light doesnt even come on. I replaced the diverter only (not the motor aswell) Still nothing. Could it be the domestic hot water microswitch ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi

we have exactly the same boiler and we had intermittent hot water issues when demanded. You could run the hot tap and nothing would happen then other times it was fine.

Got a diaphragm replaced plus a switch for about 80 quid fitted. Its not been a problem since
