    good finish with silk emulsion

    How do I get a good finish with silk emulsion? i used a good quality roller to paint my hall,stairs and landing, a large area! however when it was dry and because there is a sheen the finish looked patchy for some reason.

    How many coats did you give it? Please give more info?
    Roller type etc?
