Granite Stone walled house with interior wall dampness

by philm » Sat Jul 28, 2007 12:08 pm

I have been told that my problem is caused by falling debris in the void or cavity. water then builds up in the rubble causing the damp on my walls. The house has no damp cause.

i have been told to remove the bottom 4' of plaster board, install a waterproof membrane then replace with new plasterboard and plaster, is this the correct method, and which materials are best for the job. :?:

Take a look at any one of our damp projects and ring the phone number for Property Repair Systems. They give free, no obligation advice and we recommend them. They will tell you what you need to do (if anything) and will also be able to supply you with anything you need to do it with but will certainly not try to sell you anything you don't need
