hair dye stains

How can I remove hair dye stain on a painted wooden door. I am trying to avoid repainting the whole door?

Im not sure you can avoid that. My missus managed to get a few patches of dye on our mattress topper and wooden bed frame, and neither stain would come off for love for money. If your door has been treated previous, you could have some luck with some sugar soap but I wouldnt hold your breath
