Hanging a Hall Storage Unit on a Plasterboard Wall

Post by Pipster2797 » Tue Jun 23, 2015 4:58 pm

Hi, I'm a total novice at DIY and I'm going to attempt to hang the follwing hall storage unit in the hallway. The wall is plasterboard. As you can see from the following pictures there is a fixing at each end of the unit where it looks like a hook could be placed to hang it. However I'm unsure of which hooks to get that would be suitable.

My other thought was to drill a hole in the middle of the unit to attach it to the wall and then find a hook to fit either end. Or lastly to drill 3 holes, one at each end and one in the middle to hang the unit to the wall.

Ideally I don't want to drill into the back of the unit at all but I do want the unit up and I'm unsure what would be the best option to hang it. So any advice would be hugely welcome.

The unit was reduced so didn't come with any fixings at all.
