    i have a hole 9ft by 6ft and 1 ft deep and have ordered a ton of hardcore will the hole be deep enough to take all the hardcore or should i dig it deeper ?

    Depends on the hardcore.
    If it is building rubble you can break it down and compact it.
    You need to know the Cu/3 for 1ton of hardcore and work it out.
