Heat Resistant Spotlights

by kaner.dr » Fri Mar 20, 2009 1:08 pm

I would like to install spotlights to illuminate the rear of a fireplace cavity which will contain a flued stove. They will be installed inside the cavity above the stove. They need to be able to withstand the heat produced. I have looked for heat/fire resistant luminaires but have't found anything. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

David

your wiring would need to b properly rated for the lights to be
wired safely. An electrical wholesaler could advise types of suitable cable and light fittings to be used.
also worth seeking the advice of an electrician to advise u.
