HELP - CENTRAL HEATING SEEMS TO BE BOILING IN RADIATOR

by griff835 » Wed Oct 29, 2008 12:25 pm

Hi there

Not sure what the problem is here but symptons are a boiling bubbling sound in only the bathroom radiator but also sound to be coming from the roof and also the pump inlet/outlets are very hot. We had the boiler serviced and a 5 x TMV's recently added and I seem to bleeding the bathroom radiator on a daily basis so my questions are:

1. As the water is getting very hot in the bathroom radiator (too hot to touch) is there some kind of cutoff/overload switch that is not working back to the boiler ?

2. Is air getting into the sytem somehow ?

3. Is this a pump problem ?

Grateful for any advice as this is doing my head in and although I realise I will have to get in theprofessionals would like to know the problem for my own sanity
