Help needed: fixing shower head at 'wrong' end of bath!

I'd really appreciate some advice! My bath has shower mixer taps at 'wrong' end so there's no wall to hook the shower onto (therefore you have to sit in bath and hold shower head). Is there some kind of shower hook you can bolt to wall that extends out (i.e. the attachment is to the side, rather than directly above the taps)?

Or any other solutions...moving the taps not an option as I'm only renting!
