help needed i think - LOL

hi guys , this might sound a daft question , has anyone ever been to the beach and you see little piles of sand which look like little worms , well i have these around my lawn , wot r they and how do they get there ? :help:

Hi m.o.m, thats funny!!

They are "worm casts" made by very useful earthworms. It is the undigested material that the worm cannot use!!





P.s I thought everybody knew this - obviously not
