Help, used grout as adhesive by mistake!!!

I have had a bit of a disaster, I have used grout instead if adhesive to put down floor tile. I need to know if this is a rip up and start again job or if the grout will do the job. I have walked on the floor since it dried and there was no movement but that might be temporary. Can't believe I actually did it. Any help would be great.
