As with many new houses all our woodwork is stained mahogany.
We would like to lay a hardwood or laminate floor but do not want it to be too dark. A light coloured or oak floor would look wrong (some of our neighbours have this and it just does not go) against the current woodwork and we do not want to have to paint it all...
Can anyone recommend a flooring that would complement the dark stain without being too dark?
Any pictures or advice would be appreciated.
