Im after some advice in wiring in a new dimmer switch.. Its a new added socket so cannot just replace like for like. I have 2 power cables in the socket. 1 cable going out to the led driver and 1 cable coming in for the power.

Each cables has 1 blue, 1 red and 1 earth.

Either cables are blue and brown or black and red, I will assume blue and brown, the blues do not connect to switch but to a junction block.

The permanent line brown to com, the other to either L1 or L2 it does not matter which swapping L1 and L2 will mean switch works other way as to on/off but will still work.

So you will have an empty unused terminal.
