    i have a new hob that did not come with sealant tape and the book says do not use silicon sealant to seal it into the worktop, i have been to B&Q but their sealants are all silicon based please help

    Plumbers putty is a good substitute for that which should have been supplied with the hob. Can you not go ack to the supplier and complain about the shortage?
