Hi All,
I have replaced all my light fittings in my new home with great success.
I have come to the last one (kitchen) and I'm really struggling.
There are only 3 wires coming from the ceiling (Red Black and Earth)
Three wires in the switch (all red), the live is twisted with another in the L2 port and another one in the COM port.
I have put a new fitting up and that didn't work so I reverted to a rose and now that doesn't work either.
Can some explain to me where I am going wrong, the blue wire from the fitting is on the same 3 wide block connector as the black wire from the ceiling.
The earth is earthed to the fitting and the live is on the same 2 wide block connector as the brown from the fitting.
