This is a multifunctional gas valve, you need to press and hold the grey knob and at the same time press the ignition / spark generator.

This will or should light the pilot, once lit you need to hold the grey knob in for a further 30 seconds or so until the thermocouple has sensed the flame. This will hold the gas valve open.

If the pilot doesn't stay alight, you need to check the flame is touching the thermocouple, if it is and still wont light, a new thermocouple is required and maybe a new gas valve.

I am having same problems, and it is already October!
Checked thermocouple: ca. 25mV witout load of the coil.
But only 12 mV with load connected, taken at the termocouple.
Mounted a new thermocouple: no change
Further I loose 3 mV over the wire from the thermocouple to the coil. So this leaves only 9 mV for the coil: not enough
Checked the coil; looks ok.

Any of you guys (or girls) have a suggestion?
