Hoover dryer

I have a Hoover Dryer vision HD. When i turn it on i get a humming sound but the drum do'es not revolve. I removed the top machine cover to expose the drum and with a very small amount of help in either direction the drum will revolve under power and be ok untill the end of the cycle. Any help will be appreciated. Tooly.
