    hot water cylinder overflow

    hi, can anyone help me please. in the las few days my hot water has started to escape through my external overlfow pipe. i have no obvious leeks or blockages and there havnt been any problems before. why has this started to happen?

    Wherever it is stored is obviously filling up too much, and therefore overflowing.

    What have you looked at, if anything?

    Where is your hot water stored?

    Is there a ball valve regulating the flow of water?

    could be a number of things such as split cylinder coil, faulty ball valve in header tank, system overventing.

    more info needed.
