Hot Water Pressure in Bathroom

Post by pduckworth » Sat Jan 29, 2011 3:05 pm

Our hot water tank and bathroom are on the same level so the water flow into the bath in particular is very poor. Could this be improved using a pump that operates automatically when the hot tap is opened?

If so, what type of pump and approx cost please?

pduckworth,
If you have a cold water tank and you can increase raise it up, this will be the simplest and cheapest solution.
A twin impellor pump will cost £2-300 but it will still need installing with suitable electrics.

Thank you. I think raising the tank is not an option in our case so it looks like the expensive pump. anything to stop my better half complaining about the bath water going cold before the bath is filled.
