Hotpoint Ultima Extra Washer Dryer Drum Bearings Replacement

I need to replace the drum bearings (which have become noisy) on our Hoptpoint Ultima Extra Washer Dryer.
Has anyone got any advice on how I might get at the drum bearings. The last time I did this job on an older Hotpoint washer dryer I approached the bearings replacement job from the back cover of the machine, but this Ultima extra machine is different. I undersatnd it has a plastic rather than a metal outer drum and access to the drum bearings is best approached from the top and front of the machine.
