Dear Team,
Need advice please - WD420 Hotpoint Door Lock light stays on after cycle complete and door remains locked. To open the door, I have to switch off the mains power supply from the wall socket - I hear a click 2 minutes later and the door unlocks.
As soon as I switch on the mains power supply and press the on button on the front of the machine, the door locks itself again and the door lock light comes on. The door should only lock itself and the doorlight should only come on when one presses the 'Start' button (to run a cycle), not when turning on the machine.
