I am replacing an old 4 gang light switch with a new Varlight 4 gang switch but the terminal layout is not the same as the old switch. Of the 4 switches only 1 is required to operate 2 way - what is the correct way to wire up the new switch?

Normally every switch in the group will have one terminal at top or bottom and two terminals top or bottom sometimes labelled com, L1, L2, and sometimes L1, L2, L3 the com or lowest number will normally be on it's own. This is the important terminal as long as com or what ever other name is given to the single terminal is correct getting the other two wrong way around will only mean switch is off in down instead of up position.
