I have heard various horror stories of tiles cracking and spliting if the screed has not been given long enough to set before tileing. Some people have said a couple oof weeks is fine but others have said up to 6 months.
I would be interested to hear your comments, does it make a difference what screed mix I use or what material is in the screed mix, from this forum I have read a 3/1 mix using sharp sand is good, so how long should this be given to dry, also is laying a screed a job for a diy enthusiast, a few people have told me this is a very skilled job and should not be attempted by an amatur.
