How to cap a redundant chimney stack

by ranjitd » Fri Apr 08, 2011 1:43 pm

I have a redundant chimney stack 19" x 19" which i wish to cap off. What is best - simple slab or is there something else on the market i should use? i am concenred about using a slab and then having to deal with build up of condensation at a later date.

a slab is fine, but you will need to install a vent in the chimney breast to prevent condensation
