How to find out a house construction info

Hi,

Can anyone advise?

My daughter is trying to buy a timber constructed house that was built after the 2nd world war, but her mortgage company are asking for construction and design details before they will grant her a mortgage on it. She's tried planning and building regs but to no avail. Any idea's

Employ a surveyor/structural engineer to write a full report for you

As above. The LPA would not be able to assist whatsoever.

Your best bet would be to employ a building/structural surveyor or similar.
