How to Measure the Second Wall for Tiling Bathroom Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

Hi.. i am thinking about tiling my bathroom.. i understand how to measure the first wall using a gauge but my question is that do i need to also measure the other walls too or do i just go off the measurement from the first wall? Vertically i dont think i will need to measure bt what about horizontally? Thanks in advance.. any help will ne appreciated..
