How to open vanity unit lid?

    Postby pleasehelp » Mon Mar 21, 2011 11:06 am

Hi, can you help? I can't open the lid on top of the vanity unit for my toilet's cistern.

It's a single flush cistern but with a dual flush button. The button is on the front of the vanity unit - not the top. The top is just some sort of laminate MDF or board.

I have no idea how to get the lid off the vanity unit. There's no visible way.

I took the button assembly off the front quite some time ago, because they broke off. I don't remember seeing a screw or anything there. I managed to glue the button assembly back on and the flush still works - except that it won't refill - so I need to find out how to open the vanity unit.

    Please help!?
