immersion heater

Post by GARYF » Sun Jun 03, 2007 7:10 pm

Help?

I am going to replace a hot water cylinder fitted with an immersion heater. It is a indirect tank and i am wondering how to determine which size immersion element to use, 11" or 27"? Can anyone please advise?

Thanks,

Gary.

once the tank is drained you will be able to remove the old one to determine the size, alternatively look at the data on the old one, there should be a manufacturer name and a model or serial number, take the number and manufacturer name to a supplier and they should be able to find the size of the element.
