Installing an external thermostat in a baxi combi boiler All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

I have a Baxi combi boiler in the attic and want to add an external programmable thermostat downstairs.

At the moment the Optional Integral Timer is installed. Can I simply unplug the built in timer and wire in the heatmiser thermostat to these four terminals? I have tested this and it seems to work fine.

Consult the wiring diagram in the installer handbook. If not available download from the Baxi website. It will explain exactly how to connect a programmable thermostat to the boiler.
