Installing central heating system

Installing central heating

I’m planning on installing a central heating system; I know when it comes to installing the boiler and gas fittings I will need to get a professional in but I want to try and do as much myself as I can to reduce costs, I’m quite a keen DIYer but this will be the biggest project I have under taken.

I’m planning on putting in a combi boiler upstairs in the airing cupboard, 2 radiators downstairs and 2 radiators and a town radiator upstairs.

Do I need a single or twin pipe system for the radiators? Any other advice, tips and things I should bare in mind would be gratefully appreciated.
Cheers
